Adamax is sold as a changed form of Semax, a seven amino acid peptide with its own small research record. The name on a vial is not a study result. Neither the sales listing nor the vial size establishes that Adamax shares Semax findings. The catalog single-vial list price is $100 before any active offer shown above.

Before you buy

What should you check before you buy Adamax?

Ask which structure the vial holds, then compare it with the identity test on the batch certificate. Adamax listings disagree, and the name search found no PubChem record. The listings checked also gave no CAS number, the registry number used to identify a chemical. A familiar name alone cannot settle which molecule was supplied.

Identity and purity answer different questions. A purity result describes how much of a sample is the main compound. It does not, by itself, show that the main compound has the claimed structure. The measured mass helps check identity, which matters here because the listed chains do not agree. Our batch certificate is pending, so none of these figures is claimed for this vial yet.

What the listings say Adamax is

ListingStructure as writtenFormula printed
A peptide reference listingAc-MEHFPGP-Adam-NH2C50H69N11O11S, about 1,033 g/mol
A research listingAc-Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro-Ala-Gly with an adamantylamine endC50H69N11O11S, 1,032.23 g/mol
Another research listingAc-Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro-Ala-Gly-OHC50H69N11O11S, 1,032.24 g/mol

Three listings describe at least two different structures but print one shared formula. None supplies a CAS number or a PubChem record for Adamax. These are descriptions of listings, not measured facts about the Peptara Labs vial. The batch certificate must settle its identity before this page can state a structure for it.

The certificate guide explains the fields to compare. The certificates page carries batch status. A pending certificate gives no basis for quoting a measured mass, a purity result or a testing date.

The short answer

What is Adamax?

Adamax is a lab-made peptide sold as a modified form of Semax. Semax is a chain of seven amino acids, Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro, based on a piece of the hormone ACTH. Amino acids are the small building blocks joined together in a peptide. Sellers say Adamax adds an acetyl group to the front of that chain and a bulky, cage-shaped adamantane group to the end.

Those extra groups are part of the listing claim, and the conflicting descriptions above leave the exact chain open. A change at either end creates a different research question. The October 7 search found no published study of Adamax itself, so Semax research cannot answer that question for Adamax.

The science

What do the Semax studies show, and do they apply to Adamax?

The studies cited here tested Semax, and none tested Adamax. They measured proteins and binding in rat brain tissue. BDNF is a protein involved in nerve-cell growth and connections. TrkB is a receptor, a protein that receives a signal from BDNF. The measured changes belong to the molecule and model that the researchers tested.

Raised BDNF in rats

The rat hippocampus study reported higher BDNF protein and changes in TrkB activity after Semax. The hippocampus is a brain area involved in memory.

Binding sites in rat brain

Rat forebrain tissue had specific binding sites for Semax. That paper also measured BDNF protein in the forebrain, with a different result in the cerebellum.

Untested on Adamax

No published study has checked whether the added chemical groups keep, change or remove any of these findings. The Semax papers cannot establish an Adamax mechanism.

Applications

What is Adamax studied in?

Nothing yet under its own name in the checked published record. The research areas below separate the existing Semax studies from unanswered questions about Adamax. A proposed subject for research is not a finding.

Semax and BDNF

Published Semax work measured BDNF and its receptor in the rat hippocampus. No Adamax study was part of that paper.

Semax binding

The rat forebrain paper examined binding sites for Semax. It did not test the structure sold under the Adamax name.

Adamax identity and stability

The exact structure and its rate of breakdown have not been measured in a published Adamax study found by the search.

Adamax trials

ClinicalTrials.gov had no registered Adamax study in the October 7, 2026 search. That search result is dated and can change.

Comparison

Adamax vs Semax: what is the difference?

Semax has a defined sequence and a published record. Adamax is a sales name with conflicting structure listings. The two names therefore do not carry the same level of identity or research evidence.

What the batch certificate must showIdentity by measured massIdentity by measured mass, with the claimed structure clearly stated

No published measure shows Adamax as stronger or weaker than Semax. Nobody has compared them in the checked record. A chemical change could only be assessed by testing the changed molecule; a claim in a listing cannot fill that gap. See the Semax page for its own research record.

Evidence

What does the published record show?

The two primary papers below are Semax studies. The searches explain why neither is presented as an Adamax study. A name match in a database also needs a subject check: AdaMax is the name of a machine-learning optimizer, which explains the unrelated PubMed hits.

Dolotov 2006

Brain Research

Model: Rats and the hippocampus.

Reported: Semax raised BDNF protein and changed TrkB activity. The paper did not examine Adamax.

Dolotov 2006

Journal of Neurochemistry

Model: Rat basal forebrain tissue.

Reported: Specific, calcium-dependent binding sites for Semax and a rise in BDNF protein. No Adamax comparison.

PubMed name check

October 7, 2026

Model: 39 search records for Adamax.

Reported: The records concerned the AdaMax optimizer or machine learning. None concerned the Adamax peptide.

ClinicalTrials.gov name check

October 7, 2026

Model: Registry search for Adamax.

Reported: No registered study was found. Absence from this registry is a search result, not a safety finding.

How the name was checked

The October 7, 2026 check searched PubMed for Adamax, PubChem by name and ClinicalTrials.gov for Adamax. PubMed returned 39 unrelated records, PubChem had no compound named Adamax, and the trial registry returned no studies.

This check does not turn a missing record into a claim about safety or activity. It means that the checked sources do not supply evidence for those claims. The search date stays attached so a later paper can be assessed on its own terms. Batch identity is a separate question, and this vial's certificate remains pending.

Research timeline

How the Adamax record was checked

Research timeline

Semax findings and Adamax evidence gaps

2006: Semax in rat brain

A study measured BDNF and TrkB in the rat hippocampus after Semax. This was Semax research, not an Adamax study.

2006: Semax binding sites

A second paper reported specific binding sites for Semax in rat forebrain tissue and measured BDNF protein there.

Later: a trade name appears

Adamax appears in research listings with different descriptions of its structure. These listings do not establish a single tested identity.

October 2026: the name check

The October 7 search found no peptide paper under Adamax, no PubChem compound by that name and no registered trial.

Buying Adamax: FAQ

Where can I buy Adamax peptide?

Peptara Labs sells Adamax online as a 5mg research-grade vial, ordered from this page. Because listings disagree on its structure, compare the identity test on each seller's certificate, not only the purity figure. $50 USD, at its pre-sale price: 50% off the regular $100 until October 15, 17:00 UTC a vial. This price stands alone, with no added email, quantity or pre-order discount. Ships October 28. Delivery windows start after dispatch.

Does Peptara Labs sell Adamax 10mg?

No. The Adamax vial at Peptara Labs is 5mg. The price and the multi-vial rates on this page are for that vial size.

Adamax FAQ

What is Adamax peptide?

Adamax is a lab-made peptide sold as a modified form of Semax. Sellers say it adds an acetyl group to the front and an adamantane group to the end, but they do not agree on its exact structure. The October 7, 2026 search found no published study of Adamax itself.

What has Adamax been studied for?

Nothing yet under its own name. A PubMed search on October 7, 2026 found no paper on the peptide. The closest data is on Semax, which raised a nerve growth protein called BDNF in rat brain studies. No study has tested whether that carries over to Adamax.

What is the difference between Adamax and Semax?

Semax is a known seven amino acid chain with a PubChem record and a small published record. Adamax is sold as Semax with extra chemical groups at both ends, but listings describe its structure in different ways, and no study has compared the two.

What are the side effects of Adamax?

None are on record in the studies checked, because the search found no study of Adamax in animals or people. Missing data cannot establish safety. Peptara Labs sells Adamax for lab research only.
